Football's Over...on to Basketball!!

John's coaching the boys again this year and they are having a lot of fun.

The Haunted Mansion was decorated with the Nightmare Before Christmas theme and it was really amazing. Jack takes it all in stride.

This one is for Faolain.....Beauty and the Beast in the parade.

This was a cool display at Disney for "El Dia de la Muerta," or "Day of the Dead," I think.

We had a nice lunch in the park.

John and I had a great time visiting Mike, Vieve, and Jack in California. We had the royal treatment with Mike and Vieve navigating us through Disneyland. Jack was adorable and I had to sneak pictures of him. Living in California he has had enough of the paparazzi these days and wanted "no pictoors."

We had a great time and Mike and Vieve have a lovely neighborhood and town. We had brunch at a little place nearby and enjoyed walking around town. Jack loved stopping at each of the benches where we would all join him for a 2 second rest.

It was so good to see them all!!

Irish 2000 Festival 9/15

Faolain and some of her classmates danced at Irish 2000 Festival at Altamont Fairgrounds. She's danced at the festival since she was 7, and this is probably her last time.

She and a couple of her dance friends were allowed to dance in front of the stage for the Irish trad band Teada.

One of our favorite and very popular Irish bands Gaelic Storm (of Titanic fame) also performed to a packed house. We have a few of their cds. The security guards allowed Faolain and her friends up front to a very enthusiastic crowd. They had them wait sidestage for a picture at the end.
